Indo House was created as a personal retreat, shaped by global travel and a deep respect for place. A villa where thoughtful design, open air living, and the natural rhythm of St John come together effortlessly.

Designed in close collaboration with an architect and interior designer whose work is deeply influenced by traditional Indonesian craftsmanship. From the earliest sketches to the final details, the vision was shaped slowly and deliberately.
The home took nearly five years to complete, from initial planning through construction and finishing. This extended timeline allowed each decision to be considered with care, rather than compromise.
Many of the materials and furnishings were sourced directly from Indonesia, with custom pieces brought from Bali and integrated throughout the villa. Hand carved elements, natural textures, and architectural details reflect these influences while remaining grounded in the landscape and pace of St John.
Indo House is not the result of a single moment, but of patience, collaboration, and respect for craft. A home shaped over time, designed to be felt rather than explained.
The villa is cared for by a small, dedicated team who are deeply connected to both the home and the island. Our approach is personal, attentive, and grounded in years of hospitality experience.
From planning your arrival to supporting your stay, we focus on creating an experience that feels seamless and considered, while always respecting your privacy and pace.
