I can't recommend staying at Indohouse enough. Obviously the place is beautiful - even more so than the pictures, but what is under-spoken about it are the unique experiences you'll have here vs. a hotel. The backdoor is maybe 20 ft from the ocean directly on the beach with water access. The double island was perfect for cooking and enjoying cocktails. They have a great TV and sound system for family movies at night. Even taking work calls on the back deck was enjoyable. Each room is so serene and quiet and all you hear is the lull of the waves. I will be coming back as often as I can. I can't recommend this more.

My recent stay at Indo House in November was an unforgettable experience. The villa was beyond beautiful coupled with the amazing views, I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the island.

As a lover of interior design, I was immediately charmed by the modern Indonesian-style architecture. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, each featuring modern amenities and stylish decor that made us feel like royalty. The ensuite private bathrooms have amazing rain showers, and with the windows open you can hear all the natural sounds of the island.The outdoor spaces were also amazing - from private balconies that offer breathtaking views to lush gardens providing plenty of privacy.

Kate, the property manager, and the rest of the Indo House staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. They arranged for the most tranquil private in-house massage service. I cannot recommend getting a massage from the master suites balcony enough.

Indo House also offers their villa boat for private charter and airport water taxi transport. We chartered the boat for a day, which was an unforgettable way to explore the island. Riley, the boat captain, made our day one to remember. The private water taxi from the villa to Crown Bay (5 minute taxi to airport) made departing the island a stress free experience.

This villa is a hidden gem and offers so much more than just your typical luxury vacation rental experience. You can tell Beau, the owner, put great time and effort in creating the perfect backdrop for relaxation and fun with friends and family.

My friends and I had the pleasure of experiencing true island hospitality while enjoying the peaceful simplicity it has to offer. We didn’t want to leave- I will definitely be coming back here soon!

We loved Indo House. The Great Cruz Bay Area is a great location. Close to Cruz Bay. You can walk the neighborhood (it is very hilly). The property is immaculate. Allison was super attentive to our needs. She helped with everything from reservations, boat charters, arranging taxis & provisioning. We have been to the island many times and are super familiar with the area but it was nice to let Allison schedule everything for us. We would highly recommend!!!

Our family vacation at Indo House was nothing short of a dream, set in a location so picturesque it felt surreal. The attention to detail in the villa’s Balinese design was evident, enhancing our experience with its luxurious and thoughtfully crafted spaces. Each room was not only cozy but also boasted awe-inspiring views, accommodating our family with peace and comfort.

The serene backdrop of the setting provided a perfect canvas for relaxation, whether it was while watching boats and kayaks pass by, sipping fresh coconut water, or observing the fascinating iguanas. The house's infinity pool was a highlight, offering a refreshing dip after days spent in the sun. Remarkably, the peaceful environment contributed to improved health for both myself and another family member; my blood pressure normalized and his asthma gave him no problems the entire time!

The variety of activities available nearby was extensive and thrilling, from pristine warm water beaches, boating and snorkeling to paddle boarding, hiking, tennis, massages, and unique island shopping - all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Indo House itself is a marvel, with a well-equipped kitchen for those nights we preferred to dine in, and a lavish BBQ setup outdoors. The entertainment center was perfect for our movie nights. This vacation was a beautiful blend of luxury, tranquility, and family bonding, leaving us with cherished memories. We are deeply thankful for this extraordinary experience. A heartfelt thank you!

Our stay at indo house was perfect! We did a family trip with 3 couples and made some unforgettable memories. The amazing team was so helpful with everything including shopping for groceries, organizing transportation, providing boat and car rentals, and even little details like delivering a birthday cake for my husband. Any question or request was answered within minutes.

Allison (guest services coordinator) went out of her way to get the last few bottles of my moms favorite wine on the island (ha!), and Xande (the wonderful boat captain) made our boat days so memorable by telling stories of the island, taking us to all the best spots, and sharing his great taste in music. We loved our time in the pool, using the grill/kitchen, and paddling in the ocean on the provided paddle boards. Indo house and St John are such special places and I would love to come again!

Loved the stay here!! Beautiful house with amazing views. The house had everything we needed with a fully stocked kitchen so we could enjoy coffee outside every morning. We had a ton of fun relaxing at the house outside in the sand, in the pool, or on the deck.

There were numerous activities that kept us busy all week including paddleboarding, snorkeling, boating (one of our favorite days included getting pizza on the water and seeing a bunch of starfish on the ride out), dining, and relaxing at various beaches all week. The sand was the softest I’ve ever felt and the ocean water was as warm as a bath!

I recommend this exquisite house to anyone that wants to take a break from their hectic life! Definitely 5 stars all around. A wonderful place to spend with family or friends.

We just returned from a wonderful week at the Indo House in Great Cruz Bay. We have been visiting St John for over 10 years & this is by far the best 4 bedroom Villa! Better than the pictures....has all the privacy you need but within 5 minutes of town. Just pass the Westin on Great Cruz Bay Road... A wonderful layout with big open (well stocked) kitchen into a very comfortable family room with a large couch! Also - sliders open out to a covered patio & pool area with a private beach... Has plenty of beach towels & chairs! Bathrooms came with lots of large towels & complimentary shower essentials. Can't wait to stay here next year!

WOW! Indo House was an incredible experience. Its stunning! Taking in the sunset on the patio was such a magnificent view that pictures can’t give justice to. The house itself is brand new, unbelievably well designed and appointed with everything you might need for an epic stay. The detail throughout the property is easily on par with any 5-star resort. My personal favorite touch was the unbelievably beautiful smelling fragrance Indo House has throughout the villa (I actually reached out to see where I can purchase it myself).

I’ve been traveling to St John for many years, and I can truly say this is a one-of-a-kind property.

Our hosts were both great. They were always quick to respond and were extremely attentive. It’s also so close to the downtown Cruz Bay Area with all the restaurants and beaches close by. When I come back to St. John, I will be looking into renting Indo House again and might look into bringing a couple more friends or family along!
